Vikas Sareen, sales executive of kamal Jewellers, said that this year they have different kinds of gold and silver rakhis for the customers. Dwelling on the silver rakhis, he said that they have such rakhis made with unique designs. Silver bracelets are being purchased by the customers too that start from one gram in terms of weight. The prices range from `250 to `4500. Also they have rakhi threads with silver beads tied to them and the prices start from `200. They are selling silver glasses endowed with beautiful designs and the customers are taking them to be presented as rakhi gifts. These glasses weigh between 50 and 60 grams. They have separate section for the rakhis and rakhi gift, Sareen said.
Apart from the beautiful rakhis meant for boys, they have different gift varieties for the girls too. Many brothers are coming to take these to be gifted to their sisters to make the occasion memorable. Silver watches with beautiful carving embossed on them, priced from `5000 to `12000, are proving hits with all. Minimum 100 customers are coming to take the silver rakhis as the concept is a novel one in the city, Shareen said, adding that they are happy to add to the joy of the festival by displaying things the customers love.
