A criminal, who was to be produced before a court on Thursday, was shot dead inside the court complex in Haryana allegedly by an armed assailant, police said. Sandeep alias Bachhi was facing several cases including - murder and attempt to murder registered under the provisions of the Arms Act in Hisar, Hansi and Jind.
He was brought to the complex by the Jind police on Thursday and was to be produced before a court in Haryana in connection with a case, police said. Sandeep was shot dead by a man identified as Sajid, a resident of Balsamand village of Hisar district.
