Body of 18-year-old girl found on rly tracks
DEHRADUN: Haridwar police recovered a body of 18- year- old girl from Railway tracks near Kotwali on Haridwar- Dehradun route on Wednesday. Police sources said that prime facie, she had committed suicide by jumping before a running train on Tuesday evening. Aborted love affair might have caused her to end life this way, police said.
Sibling commit suicide back to back
DEHRADUN: Two siblings committed suicide, one after another, at their residence under Pathri police station area in Haridwar A 22 –year- old woman committed suicide by consuming poison on February 23. Police sources said that she took such extreme step after her 35- year -old brother Mahendra had scolded her because she was in relationship with a local youth. Battered by family members and locals for driving his sister to end life, Mahendra also committed suicide by consuming poison on February 24.
