18-year-old student feared drownED
Dehradun: An 18-year-old student of Doon Valley Public School was feared drowned when he got into the Tons river on Wednesday. The incident took place at noon in the Bijapur area. The missing student has been identified as Nayagoan resident Himanshu who was studying in Class XI. The school students had gone for a picnic along with teachers to this place.
DEHRADUN COPS RECOVER skeleton
Dehradun: Dehradun Police recovered the skeleton of a person believed to be aged about 23 years from Bhatta Falls area under Mussoorie Police Station on Wednesday. Police also recovered a bike from the spot. Based on bike’s registration number, the deceased has been identified as Karanpur resident Vikrant Thakur, said Mussoorie Police Station in-charge BP Pant. He further said that the family members of the deceased were informed about this incident. Thakur might have died when his bike fell off the road into gorge near Bhatta Fall around one or two months ago. According to Pant, a report about Thakur’s missing was already registered in the Dalanwala Police Station by his family.
