Doctor files case against cops
Dehradun: Following court order, a doctor of Himalaya Institute Hospital Trust, Jolly Grant, registered a case against police officers and constables under sections 323 and 506 of IPC in Doiwala Police Station, said Doiwala police station in-charge Kamlesh lamburi on Sunday. According to him, six doctors of Jolly Grant Hospital who were seated in a car that hit a Vikram on July 2, had later argued with Vikram driver. All of them were intoxicated and they created nuisance on the road. Jolly Grant Police Chowki in-charge reached the spot but they argued with him and tore his uniform.
CM releases logo of Nanda Raj jaat yatra
Dehradun: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna along with Nanda Raj jaat Yatra committee officials has released logo of upcoming Nanda Raj Jat Yatra - 2013 at his residence on Sunday. later, CM Bahuguna also discussed with the committee member including Vidhan Sabha deputy speaker Anusuya Prasad Maikhuri and MlA Jeetram about the preparation of the Yatra. He also acknowledged that the Yatra route has also damaged due to disaster but State Government is giving emphasis in providing relief in disaster affected areas.
