leader of Opposition and State BJP president Ajay Bhatt paid tribute to martyrs of Rajya Aandolankari, who lost their live at Rampur Tiraha, at Shahid Sthal on Sunday.
In his address Bhatt said, “The day would be remain known as ‘Black Day’ for Uttarakhand because then UP Government’s police had opend fire over innocent protesters, who were demanding separate State, and even they disdained our mothers and sisters. In which hundreds of aandolankari lost their lives.”
Bhatt reiterated that” we can’t forget their martyrness but we can make Uttarakhand as per the wishes of our martyr aandolankari. This would be real tribute to Aandolankaris. Currently State is under the grip of corruption and people are fade up with day to day corruption. By seeing this our martyr soul must be crying for their sacrifice.”
On October 1, Shiksha Acharyas were beaten by the police and they misbehaved with the women. This would be dastardly act done by the police. State was not created for such repression. They were staging protest for their genuine demand but the State police is resorting lathicharge like britishers. On the occasion of Gandhi birth anniversary people are celeberating it while Shiksha Acharyas have been kept in police custody since October 1.
During lathicharge several Shiksha Acharyas have received multiple injuries and it ascertains our claim that State Government is dealing people, who have been staging peaceful protest to put pressure over the State to accept their demand, with a stone heart, he said. Interestingly Chief Minister Harish Rawat had spent a night among them during the President rule in the State. Now their police is resorting lathi over our teachers.
Bhatt stressed that they would not tolerate such repression any more. On one hand State is forcing people to stage protest and when they come on road then they are resorting to cane over them. By doing this they have shown their true colour and now proven that state government as lost sensitivity towards the people. Now it is hard truth that congress led Government has reach on the verge of death,
