Police have lodged a report of a minor being allegedly drugged and gangraped by three persons in Bhagwanpur police station area on Thursday. The Haridwar police said that the 13-year-old minor was allegedly gangraped by three persons in Khelpur area under Bhagwan police station on October 3. She was admitted in the local hospital in critical condition. She was unconscious during the time of rescued. Her family lodged a complaint in the Bhagwanpur police station on Thursday when she herself narrated the incident. Taking cognisance of the report received from the complainant, an FIR was lodged against the named accused- Kadir, Aarif and Aashu under sections 376b, 363, 366, 328 and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act in the Bhagwan police station on Thursday. Teams have been formed and they have begun searching the accused in Bhawgan police station, said Haridwar SP Rural Parmendra Dobhal. The victim’s statement will be recorded under section 164 of CrPC before magistrate on Friday. In another incident in Roorkee, police have lodged a report on a minor girl being allegedly sexually exploited by one belonging to her village. According to the victim, the incident occurred on Tuesday. A case under section 376 of IPC and POCSO Act was registered against the accused and police have begun searching the accused. Victim’s statement will be recorded under section 164 of CrPC before the magistrate on Friday, said Roorkee police station in-charge.
