A 10-day National Cadet Corps training camp organised under the aegis of NCC headquarter Roorkee in association with NCC Company Pauri began at the police lines at Chamba on Monday. The cadets were given necessary tips on drill training, use of weapons and expertise in warfare tactics on the first day of the training camp. Inaugurating the camp, NCC group commander Brigadier Sanjay Soi said that the cadets should share their responsibility in other fields apart from academics for their mental and physical development. Around 102 girl cadets and 298 boy cadets from Tehri, Pauri, Haridwar and Rudraprayag districts are attending the camp.
