Taking exception to the Prime Minister’s Narendra Modi’s jibe on Congress during his rally at Rudrapur in Udham Singh Nagar on Thursday in which he termed it as a party of scams, the state unit of Congress party has said that PM should also have mentioned the string of scams which occurred during the BJP regime in state.
The spokesperson of the state Congress Garima Dassauni said that PM should have thrown light on Kedarnath reconstruction scam, liquor scam, mining scam, Siturgia, mango orchard scam, Selaqui IT Park land allotment scam, hydropower project scam, zinger seed scam, polyhouse scam, NH- 74 scam, rice scam, SIIDCUL and Stamps scam during his speech. She said that the people of the state have made up their mind for a change and it would get reflected when the results of the elections of are declared. Continuing her assault on BJP, Dasauni said that thankfully Prime Minister Narendra Modi didn’t forgot the name of the BJP candidate while addressing people in Rudrapur like BJP leader Thaawar Chand Gehlot did while addressing a public meeting at Karanpur in Dehradun recently.
She claimed that in this meeting Gehlot said that though he doesn’t remember the name of BJP candidate you should vote for Narendra Modi.
