The Bharatiya Janata Party has stated that the suspension of two IAS officers for their alleged involvement in the NH 74 scam is proof of the state government’s zero tolerance for corruption.

The BJP State media in charge Devendra Bhasin stated that after formation of the state government, Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat had stressed that the government would maintain a policy of zero tolerance in its fight against corruption.

The Congress is feeling uneasy about the probe into the NH 74 scam as some of its leaders have also been questioned in the probe and they are afraid due to their actions, he added.
