Yoga Commission” will be constituted in the state to make yoga an integral part of the people's life and to popularise it among masses, said Haryana Sports and Youth Affairs Minister, Anil Vij on Monday.
He said that a decision to this effect has been taken in the meeting of various departments held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Manohar Lal, here. Officers of various departments including Sports and Youth Affairs, Health, Police, Education and others attended the meeting.
Vij said that like every year, this year, the State Level Yoga Day will be organized in Rohtak on June 21, in which the Union Home Minister Amit Shah would be the chief guest.
He said that like previous years, this Yoga Day will also be celebrated in all the assembly areas of the state. In this, all the Ministers, MPs and MLAs of the state will participate in the Yoga function in different towns, he added.
