Keeping this in view, the Haryana Government has decided to celebrate the Mahotsava on a grand scale, he said.
Manohar lal said that people should work selflessly for the society without expecting anything in return and should take inspiration from lessons of the Gita.

the essence of life and gives the message of public service without any self interest.
In the district-level Gita Jayanti Samaroh at Sonipat, Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Kanwar Pal, said that India has the advantage of spiritual knowledge and can provide guidance to the world. The power of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita is such that even two of its shlokas are enough to direct a person in the right direction and help a dejected person fight again with renewed hope and strength. The country can regain the status of ‘Vishva Guru’ by imbibing the message of the Gita, said the Speaker.
