To bring the party closer to the youth in a manner which is in sync with the new generation, Youth Akali Dal (YAD), the Shiromani Akali Dal youth wing on Friday launched an interactive mobile based application.
The App was launched by party president and Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal, taking forward the party’s ‘Proud to be Akali’ campaign.
“I am of the firm view that the foundations of tomorrow have to be laid today. For this, it is important to reach out to the youth and engage them. This app is among the various steps being taken by us to build bridges with the youth and make them partners in the growth story of Punjab,” Sukhbir said.
He said that the App would also serve as a source of information about party initiatives and achievements and also serve as a source of feedback to the party. “YAD workers and supporters can communicate their feedback to us besides connecting with the larger Akali family worldwide,” he said.
