With Punjab Congress to move no-confidence motion against the Akali Dal-BJP Government in Vidhan Sabha in context to Majithia’s summoning by ED in the drug smuggling racket, Punjab BJP president Kamal Sharma on Monday said BJP would not play in the hands of the Congress and would firmly stand by SAD.
In a statement, Sharma said SAD is an important partner of NDA Government at the Centre, so there is no question of supporting no-confidence motion moved by the Congress in the Session on Tuesday. He said by doing so, the Congress’s only aim is to score political brownie points.
