Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Thursday said that though the matter of giving 75 per cent reservation to the youth of the State in the private sector has been stayed in the High Court for the time being, the government will firmly stand its ground and will fight in the court.

Even when the law of educated panchayat was implemented in Haryana, the High Court had imposed a stay. After this, the decision was not in our favour but we won the case in the Supreme Court. Later it was implemented. Will also fight on the law of 75 per cent reservation and will go to the Supreme Court if needed, he added. Khattar said this while interacting with the media persons after reaching his assembly constituency Karnal on Tuesday afternoon.

On the assembly elections in five states, Khattar said that the atmosphere is good for the BJP in all these states. He himself has come after campaigning in two assemblies of Uttarakhand. The BJP is definitely forming the government in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Manipur and Goa, he said. On the other hand, in Punjab also BJP will register a good presence. Here too, with like-minded people, we will be successful in forming the government, the CM added. Earlier, Khattar was accorded a grand welcome in half a dozen villages including Kaimla in Karnal district. The Chief Minister thanked the villagers and announced Rs. 51 lakh each for the construction of Langar Halls at two religious places in Kaimla and Araipura villages.
