AAP’s national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday declared that his party’s Government would promote agro-based industry in to support peasantry and general employment to the people.

“Agro-based industry is need of the hour, especially in the border districts of Punjab to support peasantry and general employment of the youth and AAP Government is committed to do so,” Kejriwal said while campaigning in the border areas.

“The industrial units, which shifted from Punjab due to apathy of SAD-BJP Government, would be brought back with tax incentives and a pre-condition that 80 percent of the jobs should be given to Punjabis,” he said adding that special economic package would be announced for special development of border area.

He blamed the ruling Badals and Punjab Congress chief Capt Amarinder Singh for ruining the border districts of Punjab by never giving any heed to their genuine woes.

Terming Bikram Singh Majithia as “agent of international drug mafia”, Kejriwal said he (Majithia) would not only be put behind bar, but he would be made to cough up double the money he had earned from the business of drug supply by the AAP Government.

He announced to cancel all fake cases under NDPS Act filed by the Badals against innocent youth who opposed drug mafia.

“Majithia has links with international drug mafia and he had also got false case registered against me in Amritsar,” he said.

He announced that AAP Government would create a special task force of senior doctors to de-addict the youth within six months and create 25 lakh jobs to bring back the youth to main stream. Presently, there are about 40 lakh youth addicted to drugs, he maintained.

“Ensuing Assembly polls is fight between hopeful and hopeless parties, SAD-BJP and Congress have colluded with each other to stop the hopeful party of AAP,” Kejriwal said.

Delhi Chief Minister said that it is wrong to say that Punjab is facing financial crunch, as there is no dearth of money but lack of political will, which has put the state into financial mess…AAP Government will work with full honesty and generate revenue by curbing the drainage of crore of rupee into corruption during SAD-BJP regime,” he promised.

“We will ensure loan waiver of the farmers within one or two years and implement the Swaminathan Committee’s report within three years of formation of AAP Government in Punjab,” Kejriwal announced.

He said that AAP has prepared 150-point charter for Punjab and announced to fulfill ten key points on priority immediately after forming Government. “Time is ripe for Punjabis for bringing political change in Punjab for future of their wards and to end the nexus between Badals and Amarinder, who have tacit understanding to contest Punjab Assembly polls,” Kejriwal said.

Vowing that AAP Government would nab the culprits behind the Sacrilege of Guru Granth

Sahib and ensure exemplary punishment for them, so that no one in future could dare to indulge in such an inhuman act, said Kejriwal alleging connivance of Badal family in the incidents of sacrilege.
