Savita Bhatti, widow of late comedian Jaspal Bhatti, will be the Aam Aadmi Party candidate from Chandigarh making it a triangular fight.
The other two main parties — BJP and Congress are yet to announce their candidates. After joining AAP, Savita pointed out the similarity between the party and her by “living as an aam aadmi, and fighting against corruption”. “While joining AAP, I feel that my husband Jaspal Bhatti is with me. We will continue the tirade against corruption and his legacy,” she said.
