Weak BJP protecting powerful Raje: Cong

The Congress on Sunday alleged that the ‘weak’ BJP is protecting its ‘powerful and corrupt’ Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj who have been totally exposed in lalit controversy.“It is now established with the documentary evidence that both Vasundhara Raje and Sushma Swaraj helped fugitive lalit Modi who has been issued blue corner notice,” said the Congress national spokesperson and former Sangrur MP Vijay Inder Singla.

He said that Swaraj sent an e-mail to British High Commissioner to help lalit Modi but whether there is any such file in the External Affair MinistryIJ He alleged that Swaraj not only helped Modi but also wilfully violated the procedure laid down by the cabinet for helping an absconded lalit Modi.Singla alleged that Raje went to london to help fugitive lalit Modi for signing the affidavit in favour of lalit Modi in UK itself to secure residence for him there in defiance of law and despite various ED or Income Tax notices against him.

Congress leader questioned the abnormal silence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on lalit Gate. “Why PM Modi cannot dare to formally give a
