Haryana Home and Health Minister Anil Vij was on Friday put on oxygen support after his oxygen levels dipped in the morning.
The Minister has been advised by doctors for complete bed rest.
Vij will give a miss to the three-day proceedings of the monsoon session of Haryana Assembly because of his health condition.
In a statement issued, Vij said, “I have been a member of Haryana Legislative Assembly for 6 times. But this is happening for the first time when I could not attend the proceedings of the House during the session."
Earlier in the day, Vij, who also holds the charge of Urban Local Bodies had ordered to lodge a case in relevant sections of law against outsourcing contractors for not making up-to-date salary to their employees and for not depositing provident fund and ESI funds.
