Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij on Wednesday said that the state Government, on the lines of the Chandigarh Police, is planning to provide late night drop service to women in distress. He said police officials have also been alerted after the Telangana doctor's rape-murder incident. "I have asked police officials to remain vigilant after the Hyderabad incident. We are planning to provide new PCR vans to each police station and 400 new vehicles are being purchased," Vij said. The Home Minister said the police force has been kept on high alert so that no one can carry out any anti-social activity in the State.
