The Punjab Vigilance Bureau on Saturday registered a bribery case against Head Constable (HC) Harmanjeet Singh posted at Police Post, Kalajhar, under police station Bhawanigarh, Sangrur district for demanding a bribe of Rs 100,000. An official spokesperson of the VB said HC Harmanjeet Singh was booked on the basis of an online complaint lodged by the complainant. He has complained to the VB that the police official demanded bribes to help him in a police case.
