The Haryana Police has arrested four members of a gang who used to lift vehicles from Panchkula, Ambala, Chandigarh, Panipat and Mohali and also recovered 12 vehicles. A spokesman of the Police Department said police that they had earlier arrested Chanpreet Singh alias Channi and brought him from Tihar Jail, Delhi on production warrant to investigate the case registered at Sector 5, Panckula and later took him on remand from court.During remand, six vehicles were recovered following the information given by him. These vehicles include two Hyundai Verna, a tipper, a Mahindra bolero, a TATA Indica and a Toyoa Qualis.The accused informed that he had lifted these vehicles from Ghaziabad, Ambala, Mohali and Delhi and a Verna car was lifted by him from Panchkula.
