A day after the building collapsed in Sector 17 leading to the death of two persons, the UT administration on Monday constituted a committee to inquire into the incident. The inquiry Committee would be headed by Tanvi Garg, UT Additional Deputy Commissioner and its members will be MCC Additional Commissioner Sunil Bhatia, UT Chief Engineer SK Chadha, MCC Chief Engineer Mukesh Anand, MCC Executive Engineer Inderjit Singh, MC Station Fire office Ml Sharma, DSP (Central) Ashish Kapoor. The Committee may co-opt any specialist for the purpose of suggesting structural measures to prevent such incidents, added the spokesperson.
