Chandigarh BJP has announced its one day working committee meeting on July 21 to chalk out strategy for upcoming lok Sabha elections.
This first of its kind meet will constitute its state unit’s office bearers, all the district presidents and general secretaries, all the morcha heads and conveners and all the special invitees.
BJP Chandigarh general secretary Chandrashekhar informed that the meeting will be held at BJP Punjab office in Sector 37 and will be headed by Chandigarh incharge Aarti Mehra.
“The meeting will comprise of discussion on the organisational and political issues in front of the party. The emphasis would lie on how to strengthen the party at its grass root level like booths level,” informed he. Mehra would also review various programmes conducted by the party in the recent past to strengthen party’s base in the city. During the meeting, specific duties in the party are likely to be allocated to the senior leaders in view of lok Sabha elections scheduled next year.
