Punjab Governor and UT Administrator Banwarilal Purohit on Monday released a book titled “The Ninth flower" Best of Amrita Pritam, in Chandigarh in an event organised by Stellar Publishers and Sahitya Sangam Tricity. The book is an English transcript transcreated from the Hindi originals by Jyoti Sabharwal. The Administrator applauded the author for taking up a very challenging task of translating Amrita Pritam's various genres of writing into English and making it accessible to a larger group of readers. He also added that the writers and thinkers are the intellectual capital of any nation who enrich it with their creative ideas and literature.
