Punjab Government has invited tenders to set up a multipurpose hall at Jawaharlal Nehru Government College in Tooran village of Mandi Gobindgarh at a cost of Rs 20 lakhs. Spokesperson of the Public Works Department said that this College was established in 2003, and is imparting quality education to thousands of students from the local area especially the villages. The hall to be constructed will help the students to organize various activities and extracurricular programs like festivals, seminars, workshops, training etc.
