Punjab Government will organise job fests in the state to fulfill the promise of ‘Har Ghar Rozgaar’ to the youth, Technical Education Minister Charanjit Singh Channi said on Saturday.
After a meeting with the representatives of private technical education institutes here, Channi said that under Punjab Government’s mission, “Har Ghar Naukri” job opportunities, job fests at various Tehsil & District levels would be organised in collaboration with Unaided Colleges, Industry and NGOs. These job fests would be organised in various institutions of the state.
Channi said that the first job fest under this initiative would be organized at Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, on June 6. He also launched the poster of this Job Fest.
The minister said apart from providing good quality education it’s the responsibility of every institution to build and develop job skills in its students so they can be placed in good companies with good packages.
