Taking a serious note of the complaints of parents of girl students, Punjab Education Minister Sikander Singh Maluka on Tuesday placed Mahesh Kumar — Punjabi teacher of Mahinderganj Government Senior Secondary School in Rajpura district — under suspension with immediate effect.
Maluka had earlier directed Nabha circle education officer to inquire into complaints. After submission of report, Maluka ordered the suspension of guilty teacher. Besides, the principal of the said school has also been transferred to Mangat Government Senior Secondary School in ludhiana.
