Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee president Capt Amarinder Singh on Wednesday said that Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal was not in favour of getting the SYl issue resolved in Punjab’s favour.
“If the SYl issue is settled in Punjab’s favour, it does not suit Badal politically and he is deliberately trying to spoil the case to make political capital out of it,” said Capt Amarinder, while interacting with the reporters after an interaction with the party workers.
At the same time, Capt Amarinder reiterated that he will go to any extent to save Punjab’s waters even if it the Supreme Court decided against Punjab.
