In an initiative towards realising the “Clean India Mission”, Haryana Government has made functional ‘Swachh App’, a mobile application in all the 10 Municipal Corporations of the State.
With this, any person can click and upload the photograph of waste on the ‘Swachh App’ mobile application. After uploading the photo, the garbage location will also be visible, said a spokesman of the Urban local Bodies Department.
He said that this way, the photograph would reach the supervisor of the ward and then the supervisor would be responsible for cleaning the place. If cleaning is not ensured within the time limit, then it would be reported to the sanitary inspector, Municipal Commissioner and the Chief Minister’s Office.
In this way the work of town’s cleaning has now come to the hands of every citizen, as with one click, the municipal officials would have to ensure the cleanliness of their area, said the spokesman.
He said that android and apple phone users could also download this app from Google Play or App store respectively. The Chief Minister Manohar lal had launched this application in Rohtak in April this year, added he.
