Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal on Sunday announced the constituency in-charges for 12 assembly seats, including seven new faces.
Sukhbir, who also met all the 12 in-charges separately and later even took their joint meeting, urged them to pan out in their respective constituencies and spread awareness about the 13-point programme announced by the SAD-BSP alliance which it was committed to fulfil once it formed the Government in the State.
He also requested them to work with vigour in conjunction with the district and circle organizations to ensure optimum coordination with all party members.
Assuring them that he would be visiting each and every constituency in the next three months and would address the specific concerns of each constituency, Sukhbir said: “While we will come out with an election manifesto for the entire State, we will also take into account the problems of individual constituencies and address them also.”
The in-charges while giving feedback to the president said the Congress party was collapsing due to its failure to implement any of the promises made to the people including farmers, youth and the weaker sections besides widespread corruption and complete collapse of the law and order situation in the State.
