“AAP leaders have committed a sacrilege by equating their frivolous manifesto with Guru Granth Sahib and not stopping at this, AAP leaders wounded the sentiments of all Punjabi’s and Sikhs by planting their party symbol ‘broom’ on the image of Darbar Sahib pasted on their manifesto,” said Sukhbir.

Terming SAD as the mother party and genuine representative of Punjabi and Sikh community the world over, Sukhbir said that the State has gone many notches up the index of social, economic and political development with only the SAD-BJP Government at the helm during the previous nine years.

He elaborated that opposition parties are spearheading a malicious campaign of misinformation about development in the state whereas truth is that Punjab has become a model state in terms of various parameters of progress with path breaking initiatives.
