Haryana Minister of State for Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes, Krishan Kumar Bedi on Thursday issued directions to all the District Welfare Officers to work with dedication to ensure that the eligible beneficiaries be benefited by various schemes run by the department.
Strict action would be taken against those officers who are found neglecting their duty, said Bedi while presiding over a review meeting of all District Welfare Officers here.
The Minister said that online system was being implemented as part of zero tolerance towards corruption. He said that many complaints had been recieved regarding irregularities by some Officers in Post Matric Scholarship Scheme.
Issuing warning, he said that such complaints would not be tolerated in future.
Bedi directed to open Skill Development Training Institutes for Data Entry in all 21 districts .
The Minister also said that in this age of computers, more youths could be made employable by imparting computer training to them.
