Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Sunday denied the reports of any move of Congress party to replace him.
Hooda while replying to questions of media persons in Ballabgarh said that as long as he has the blessings of UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi, support of the MlAs and trust of the people, he would continue to serve as Chief Minister.
In reply to a question concerning his meeting with Sonia Gandhi, he said that he has been meeting her because of the issues of the development of Haryana. When his attention was drawn towards the statements made by Rajya Sabha members Birender Singh and Shelja criticising him for a style of functioning, Hooda said that there may be difference of opinion in the party but it was not a major issue.
On the issue of railway fares, the Chief Minister said that no Government after Independence of the country had made such an increase. He said the hike in railway tariff made by NDA was much higher than the hike made by UPA during its two terms.
Taking a dig at the NDA, Hooda said, "Dekho NDA ka khel, mahangi rail-mahanga tail, sarkar 25 din mein fail". He said that he would continue to advocate that tickets for 50 per cent of the seats should be given to the youth for the ensuing Assembly elections. It would be appropriate to give tickets to those who have clean image and are likely to win the elections, he said.
While reiterating the he would form the Government in the State for the third consecutive term, Hooda said that the results of the ensuing Assembly elections would be different from lok Sabha elections 2014.
