A State level Committee of Agriculture Department has been constituted for evaluation of performance and accountability of senior officers in Himachal Pradesh.
A spokesman of the State Government said that the committee would be headed by the Chief Secretary as chairman and other members would consist of Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries and Secretaries of Agriculture, Finance and Personnel Departments, Director Agriculture and Director Public Relations. Principal Advisor-cum-Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister would be the special invitee, whereas Secretary, Administrative Reforms would be the Member Secretary.
The spokesperson said that the committee would review performance of the senior officers of Agriculture Department, implementation of CM’s announcements, organisation reforms, innovative projects, schemes and special initiatives of the State Government besides modernisation and computerisation.
