The State-level Himachal Day function would now be held at Shimla instead of Indora in Kangra district.
In a notification issued here by the State Government on Tuesday, a partial modification has been made regarding celebration of State level Himachal Day function.
The State level Himachal Day function on April 15 will now be held at the Ridge Maidan Shimla instead of Indora in District Kangra, the notification said.
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur will preside over the State level function, Education Minister Suresh Bhardwaj will also attend the function at Shimla.
Anil Sharma, MPP & Power Minister will preside over the district level function at Dharamshala in district Kangra instead of Shimla. Deputy Speaker HP Vidhan Sabha Hans Raj will also attend the function at Dharamshala. Industries Minister Bikram Singh will preside over district level function in district Kinnaur at Rekong Peo.
