Haryana Sports and Health Minister Anil Vij on Saturday made a surprise visit to the prestigious Motilal Nehru School of Sports, Rai in Sonipat district and expressed his displeasure over the number of irregularities that he found there.
The Minister, who was on his way to New Delhi from Ambala, directed the Sub Divisional Magistrate to submit a report within a week. Vij, who was annoyed with the state of affairs in the institute, also sought explanation of two Sub Divisional Officers of Public Works (Building and Roads) Department. The Minister also directed the SDM to check the attendance register and record of leaves.
