To keep a check on the fake or manipulated videos on the social media like Twitter or WhatsApp especially on the poll day on May 12, Haryana chief electoral officer Rajeev Ranjan has asked all the Deputy Commissioners-cum- District Election Officers (DEOs) to constitute dedicated teams in their respective districts. The DEOs would also send an action taken report after ascertaining the authenticity of the videos within two hours, he added.Rajeev Ranjan who was addressing the Deputy Commissioners-cum- District Election Officers (DEOs) through video conferencing here directed them to personally examine such videos.
