A special campaign has been launched in Haryana to sensitise the police force regarding the newly amended law for ensuring safety of women and also to make the police personnel aware about various provisions of the amended Act.
Haryana Additional Director General of Police, Sheel Madhur said that to ensure complete safety of women, law has been amended in the Parliament on April 3. For effective implementation of any law, it is pertinent that the enforcing agencies should have complete knowledge of it.
He said that under this campaign, almost half of the districts of the State have already been covered and the remaining districts would be covered in the next 10 days. The main aim of this campaign is to sensitise the law enforcing agencies and also the people about this Act.
