Punjab Revenue and Public Relations Minister Bikram Singh Majithia on Sunday said that some political parties are trying to disturb peace and communal harmony in the State for political gains.
The SAD-BJP alliance is all set to form Government the third consecutive term in the State on the development agenda, whereas the opponents are playing cheap politics to create rift among the various sections of the society, he said.
Majithia, after disbursing grants for development works in various villages, told the media that Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) are playing dirty games on the national security issues just for political gains.
He said that the whole world is facing the threat of terrorism and the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has led from the front by supporting the armed forces to counter terrorism.
Modi is being applauded by the whole world for counter terrorism steps taken by the Indian Armed forces, he claimed.
Punjab Congress chief Capt Amarinder Singh’s Mission 2017 is a sinking ship as his own partymen are eager to remove him from the chair of presidentship of Punjab Pradesh Congress, Majithia quipped.
He said that it's a well-known fact in public that Capt is soon going to be removed from the presidentship and due to this he was not declared as Chief Ministerial candidate by the Congress.
