SOI condemns politicisation of personal tragedy by AAP, Cong

Urging the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Congress not to politicise a personal tragedy, Punjab Youth Development Board chairman and Students’ Organisation of India (SOI) coordinator Parambans Singh Romana on Monday said that they would be forced to gherao the residence of AAP MP Bhagwant Mann as well as Congress leaders if they continue to incite people on this issue.

Romana, expressing his heartfelt condolences with the bereaved family of Moga molestation case victim, said that it was unfortunate that AAP and Congress were acting like vultures and had flocked together at Moga to derive political mileage from the death of a 13-year-old teenage girl.

“It is high time that both AAP and Congress stop playing politics on this tragedy. Even Arshdeep's family members have appealed to you to let them be and allow them the dignity to mourn the death of their child but it seems to have had no effect on you,” he said.
