A special investigation team (SIT) has been constituted by the Punjab Police to look into allegations of "sexual exploitation" against Sardar Singh. The SIT, set up by ludhiana Police Commissioner PS Umranangal, would be headed by additional DCP SS Atwal and comprise two other members. The SIT started its enquiry into the case immediately on Wednesday. Police have not registered any case against Sardar Singh so far.
