Senior SAD leader and Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee general secretary Manjinder Singh Sirsa on Tuesday questioned the Aam Admi Party’s intention of holding a congregation in Shaheedi Jor Mela in Fatehgarh Sahib two days ago.
He sought an apology from the Aam Aadmi Party convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for hurting religious sentiments of the Sikh community as they sat on the stage to discussed politics while lashing at the Punjab Government, without caring about the religious sanctity of the occasion.
“It is without doubt that the activists were transported from all place to Fatehgarh Sahib to be part of the crowds had not come to pay obeisance but came to gain political mileage,” said Sirsa.
“When Sikhs in the entire world were full of compassion remembering supreme sacrifice of Chotte Sahibzadas Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh and Mata Gujari, AAP activists in utter disgrace were discussing politics and setting the dream to form their Government in Punjab after 2017 elections,” he said.
