Single Window System for permissions of rallies and other necessary approvals to the candidates of lok Sabha elections has been set up at the offices of the Assistant returning officers in SAS Nagar Mohali.“Any political party and their candidates now need not to bother for permissions of rallies, election meetings, loudspeakers, vehicle and other necessary approvals. As for all these, a single window system has been established at offices of AROs where the service will be provided on first come first serve basis,” said District Electoral officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Tejinder Pal Singh Sidhu. Sidhu appealed various political parties for submitting request for prior approval well before the event so that timely approvals could be provided.
