Punjab Congress on Wednesday asked Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal to tender an unconditional apology to the people of the State for abusing his stature and making false claims of development in cities and rural areas.
“BJP MP from Amritsar Navjot Sidhu deserved to be complimented for raising Badals’ misdeeds in public domain. His voice represents all MPs and MlAs of both opposition and ruling parties who are being discriminated for one or the other reason. Badal and his son Sukhbir Badal have portrayed a rosy picture by repeated lies and fake claims,” said Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) president Partap Singh Bajwa.
Bajwa, addressing a conference at Gurta Gaddi Diwas, said that it was so sad that Akali leaders ruling in Punjab had abandoned the teachings of Sikh Gurus for lust of power and money.
