Haryana Sahitya Akademi has decided to honour 19 prominent writers at “Shreshth Kriti Puraskar Samaroh” on August 20. Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Haryana, Dr KK Khandelwal would give away awards.
Every year, the academy gives awards for best literary works in Hindi, Haryanvi and English and Hindi Story. Out of the about 100 books received during the year 2013, as many as 15 books of Haryana domicile writers have been selected in Hindi, Haryanvi and English category. Rs 21,000 in cash and a certificate to each writer.
