Haryana Home and Health Minister Anil Vij on Thursday said that the construction work of ‘Shaheed Samarak of the First War of Independence' is being built in the memory of innumerable warriors and fighters of the first freedom struggle of 1857 in Ambala Cantonment. Art work will be started in the memorial and this memorial will be inaugurated during the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav year. In this memorial, the events of 1857 revolution will be brought to life in a virtual way and will also be displayed for the enlightenment of the visitors. Vij said this while chairing a review meeting with the officers of various departments in connection with the ‘Shaheed Samarak of the First War of Independence'. Shaheed Samarak is being established by the Department of Information, Public Relations and Languages.
Health dept to issue advisory to Chandigarh schools on hand, foot and mouth disease
Chandigarh: UT Adviser Dharam Pal on Thursday directed the Health Department to issue advisory to schools in Chandigarh so the proper precautionary measures are taken regarding Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD). He said that there is no need to panic and all the necessary steps are being taken. Adviser said this after reviewing the situation about HFMD and the Health Department on Thursday.
