Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has decided to honour the witnesses and the lawyers in the Sajjan Kumar case at Akal Takht, Amritsar, on December 26.
Announcing this, the Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) president
Gobind Singh Longowal said that the witnesses Jagdish Kaur, Nirpreet Kaur and Jagseer Singh as well as senior advocates HS Phoolka, RS Cheema and Gurbaksh
Singh and their respective teams would be honoured at Akal Takht on December 26 by Takht Jathedar Singh Sahib Gaini Harpreet Singh.
Earlier, Longowal had given this suggestion during the SAD core committee meeting, following which it was decided that the witnesses as well as the lawyers associated with the cases be felicitated at Akal Takht.
