From now on, Haryana citizens will be able to get facilities like character certificates or no objection certificates (NOC) online. In a step towards ensuring transparent, graft-free good governance to the people, the Haryana Government has made available seven more services online under the second phase of citizen portal ‘Harsamay 24x7’ of Haryana Police.
Haryana Chief Secretary DS Dhesi has given his approval for seven such services while presiding over the meeting of State APEX Committee for Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems here on Wednesday. A Government spokesperson said the applicants would have to pay fee of RS200 for online services like character certificate, police NOC, tenant verification, domestic worker verification, employee verification, permission for protest and permission for procession.
Services like complaints, lost property and documents, RTI, cyber cafe and community participation group were provided in the first phase of ‘Harsamay 24x7’ portal launched in January. About 2,788 complaints have been received on this portal so far. The spokesperson said that Haryana would be the first such state where Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems would be implemented in all districts.
