Seer stresses on need for talks to resolve Kashmir tangle

Published on:

While stressing on dialogue to resolve the Kashmir tangle, Digamber Jain Muni Gyan Sagar said on Tuesday that even those who are in the forefront of the separatist movement in the troubled State must be involved in the talks. “For, there is no other option left but to go for talks and again talks,” the seer said.

Speaking to the media persons, Jain Muni said, “The people who are being misled by the terrorists in Kashmir must be convinced of the futility of such acts through a dialogue. Violence can never solve  any problem, big or small.”

The seer also expressed concern over the rising commercialization of the holy city and its maths and ashrams. “The saints must stay away from creature  comforts to  remain sadhus. They are not meant to run after material wealth. The pilgrimage sites like Haridwar being gateways to the Gods, it is our duty to preserve their sanctity,” he said.
